ABSTRACTSemiconductormediatedphotocatalystshasabroaddevelopmentprospectsinsolarenergyapplicationandenvironmentalapplications.Amongnumeroussemiconductors,TiO2nanostructureshaveattractedgrowinginterestsbecauseofNon-toxic,lowprice,lightresistanceandstablechemicalproperties.Butforthepurenano-TiO2,thedisadvantageistheshortlifetimeofexcitedelectron-holepairs,whichreducesthephotocatalyticperformanceandlimitstheapplicabilityseverely.InordertoimprovethephotocatalyticperformanceofTiO2,themodificationofTiO2nanostructurebecomehotresearchtopicinthefieldofphotocatalysts.Rareearthelementsdopinghaslongbeenknownasoneofthemosteffectiveapproachestoimproveitsphotocatalyticperformance.RareearthdopedTiO2createmoreabundantoxygenvacanciesandsurfacedefectsinTiO2,whichacceleratestheseparationofphotogeneratedelectron-holepairsandenhancesthephotocatalyticperformance.PLspectraisalwaysusedasaneffectivemethodtostudyopticalpropertiesandelectronicstructureofsemiconductor,whichcanobtaintheinformationofphotogeneratedchargecarrierformigrate,capture,compoundandetc.SoitissignificanttostudyofPLspectraandtopreparedhighphotocatalyticperformanceofTiO2nanostructures.DifferentcalcinationtemperaturesandGd,Y-dopedTiO2nanopowderswerepreparedbysol-gelmethed,whichwasusedasprecursorsubsequently.ThecorrespondingTiO2nanotubesweresynthesizedbyhydrothermalmethodundermicrowaveirradiation,andcharacterizedbyFieldemissionscanningelectronmicroscopy(FESEM),Fieldemissiontransmissionelectronmicroscopy(FETEM),X-raydiffraction(XRD)andPLspectra.Theinfluenceonstructure,morphology,andcrystalformofmicrowavetreatmentbydifferenttemperatureTiO2nano-powderwerestudy.AndtheeffectofGd,Ycontentonmorphology,crystallinityandphotoluminescenceofTiO2nanopowdersandnanotubeswereinvestigated.Theinfluenceofmicrowavetreatmentofdifferenttemperatureonthestructure,morphology,andcrystalformofTiO2nanopowderwasinvestigated,whichprovidesreasonableexperimentschemefortheresearchonthestructureandpropertiesofGd/Y-dopedTiO2nanotubes.Theresultsshowedthatthecalcin
