Geologic features 2. Yellowstone River The Yellowstone River is a tributary(支流)of the Missouri River(密苏里河), approximately 692?miles (1,114?km) long, in the western United States. 3. Wild life There are almost 60 species of mammals(哺乳动物)in the park, including the endangered gray wolf, the threatened lynx (猞猁), and grizzly bears(灰棕熊). Other large mammals include the bison(野牛), black bear, elk(麋鹿), moose(驼鹿)and mule deer(长耳鹿). Over 1,700 species of trees and other vascular(充满活力的,含有血管的) plants are native to the park. Another 170 species are considered to be exotic(由外国引进的)species and are non-native.
