Subsequently the weather has deteriorated and vessel encountered gusty winds with heavy swell. The attempt to un berth the vessel was unsuccessful in rough weather condition. Eventually two forward mooring ropes were parted as vessel was surging against the shore fenders. One shore fender was damaged and vessel sustained dent damage on her shell plate. UNIX LINE PTE LTD Design of terminal: The Dover terminal located at Lat: 05-57.65 S, Long: 105-59.70 E. The terminal is open to sea and no breakwater provided to protect the ship’s from seasonal weather. UNIX LINE PTE LTD Ship’s status during incident: Vessel was heading South, with her port side alongside to terminal. 6 Mooring ropes of 2-2-2 3-1-2 formation was used at forward and aft station respectively. Tidal current: NE’ly(about 0.8kts), Wind force: 30-35kts, W’ly Swell direction W’ly (about 3mters) Starboard Anchor was used during berthing and 3 shackles was paid out. Draft: F: 6-40M, A:
