AbstractAsamarket-orientedwindow,saleslogisticsistheimportantlinktowinmarketfortheenterprise.Itisalsosignificanttoimprovethecompetitiveness.Withthechangesinironandsteelproductdemandbecomingpersonalized,diversifiedandsmallquantities,itistheprimarykeyoftheironandsteellogisticsmanagementtoreducelogisticscostsandimprovecustomersatisfaction.Therefore,inordertoachievethepurposeoftheenterprisesprofitmaximization,itisnecessarytoresearchinformationlogisticsmanagementandcontrolsystemsusingGPS/GIS,GPRS,3Gcommunicationstechnology,informationmanagementtechnology,databasemanagementtechnique,whichcanhelpdevelopmodernlogisticsandimprovethecompetitivenessofenterprises.Accordingtothesituationofsaleslogisticstransportationanddeliverymanagementinanironandsteelenterpriseandtheproblems,thearchitectureofmanagementandcontrolsystemforironandsteelsaleslogisticsbasedontheTabletPCisproposedinthispaper.ThespecificcaseofsaleslogisticsofWuhanIronandSteel(Group)Corporationisadopted.Theneedofthiscaseisanalyzedinordertorealizethee-management.Theoverallframeworkofsystemisinvestigated.Thearchitectureofthesystemandthedesignofdatabasestructurearestudied.Theselectionofnetworkandequipmentisalsoconsidered.Thethree-tierC/S-basedplatformframeworkisadoptedtodesignthesystemsoftwarearchitectureinthispaper.Thefunctionmoduledivisionisinvestigated.Thesystemisdividedintomodulesofmobileelectronicdelivery,electronicharborreportandautomaticalarm.Thedesignofeachfunctionalmoduleisemphasisdetailedanalyzed,andtheimplementationisalsoin-depthstudied.BytheapplicationofthemanagementandcontrolsystemforironandsteelsaleslogisticsbasedonTabletPC,thedefectsofdeliveryinformationfeedbacklagbypaperworksheetsisimproved.Theefficiencyoftheshipschedulingisenhanced.Thequalityoftransporttravelcarriagecanbeeffectivelymonitored.Thewholeprocessoftransportationanddeliverycanbemonitored.Themanagementleveloftheenterpriseisgreatlyimproved.Anditisusefultomeettheironandsteelenterprisesmanagementdemand.Keywords:TabletPC;IronandSteelEnterprise;SalesL
