AbstractInordertomeettheneedsofenergysavinginthecontextofglobalwarming, manycountrieshavebeguntodevelopelectricvehicles.Parallelhybridelectric vehicle(PHEV)hasagoodprospectofapplication,butlargescaleofPHEVs connectingtothedistributionnetworkwillbringahugesecurityandstability risk.ThedevelopmentofPHEVcontrolprogramsandreactivepower optimization can effectively solve the problem that the nodal voltage in distribution network is too low which is caused by large scale of PHEVs’ connecting, it can also reduce the pressure of the operation and improve the benefitsofthedistributionnetwork.Firstly,theloadofPHEVs’connectingisstudiedwithMonteCarlo simulationandthedischargeofPHEVstothegridisnotconsidered.Thepeak loadiscoincidentwiththedistributionsystempeakloadandthedifference betweenthepeakloadandneaploadistoobig,thedelaychargingbasedonthe state ofbattery capacity is proposed, there are different charging policies for differentstates of the PHEVs,thePHEVswithpoor state can charge rapidly whiletheotherschargeafteraperiodoftime.duringtheevening peak, all PHEVstakedelaycharging.Finally,thepeakloadofthedistributionnetworkis reduced.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheprogramcaneffectivelyreducethe peakload,andimprovethevoltagelevelofthedistributionnetwork.Secondly,theinfluenceofthePHEVs’connectingforthepowerflow calculationisresearched,includingdistributedloadandunbalancedpower supplyinthedistributionnetwork,wayofequivalentisproposedtodealwiththe distributedloadsupportonthebranches,andtheallocationfactorofthe distributedloadisintroducedtoproratathedistributedloadtobothendsofthe branch.Thevirtualbranchisproposedtodealwiththeunbalancedpowersupply problemwhichcausedbylarge-scalePHEVsconnectingtothedistribution network,letthesingle-phase(two-phase)powersupplytransforminto three-phasepowersupply,thattheimbalanceofthethree-phasebranches transformintotheimbalanceofthreephaseload,effectivelysolvetheproblem thatthenodeadmittancematrixissingularwhichcausedbytheimbalanceofthe branches,exampl
