From the literature to the movie—Analysis on the Subjectivity in Jiang Wen’s adaptationAbstractMovieartshavekeptcloseconnectionwithliterature,sinceitwasborn.Itcanbesaidthattheadaptationoftheliteratureworksisanimportantsourceoffilm-making.Withthepracticeoffilmadaptationgoestomaturestagegradually,thestudyoffilmadaptationgoestovigorousdevelopmentaswell.Manyofthesestudieshavealreadypaidattentiontothe changesfromtheoriginalliteratureworktothefilmadaptation,howeverwerealizedthatmostresearchershaveconsideredthedifferencebetween originalliteratureworkand thefilm adaptationas anobjectiveresult,fewofthemhasanalyzedthesequestionsfromcreators’subjectiveperspective.Inthisregard,thestudiesofSubjectivityarebecomingindispensable.Atthe same time, as a movie creator, Jiang Wen’smovies whicharealladaptedfromliteratureworksarecompletelydifferentfromitsoriginalliteraturework.Thatsays,JiangWen’sSubjectivityplaysanextremelyimportantroleonthisprocessofre-creation.Inthat,thispaperchoseJiangWen’sadaptationasaninvestigatedobject,todiscusstheproblemsofsubjectivityinthefilmadaptation.Firstly,thepaperhorizontallymadeacomparativeanalysisoftheaestheticdifferenceswhichbetweenJiangWensfourmovieswiththeoriginalworks,respectivelyobservingandstudyingthereflectionofpersonallifeexperience,cultureandideology,genderperspectiveandthecontemporaryconsciousnessinthemovies,thustofindoutthedifferencesofsubjectivityinitandfindoutthesubjectivecognitionofJiangwenwhichapartfromthecollectiveconsciousness.Secondly,thepaperlongitudinallyinducedJiangWen’sadaptationstyleunderhissubjectiveconsciousness,accordingtothreeaspectsoftheexternalizationofpersonallifeexperience,theintegrationofthesubjectconsciousnessandpostmodernismcontextandtheimpactofcreators’identitytransfer,whichalsorefractedhisspiritualcoreofsubjectivity.Aboveofall,thepaperletoneunitguideawholeareareflectingthedifferencesofsubjectivityhowtoinfluencethepracticeoffilmadaptation,andeventuallyunderstandthattakingadvantageofcreator’ssubjectivityplaysanirreplac
