AbstractWith the advances in technology, the multiple bands frequency products have been widely used both in peoples lives and in the high-tech military technology. As a special spatial filter frequency selective surface (FSS), due to the regularity of its diversity, structural arrangement of the unit in the field of multi-frequency band has been increasingly payed more attentions. According to the basis of previous research, a dual-band frequency selective surface structure cell is designed, the main work are as follows:Firstly, the concept, application and background knowledges of the FSS are introduced. On the basis of explanation and discussion the FSS cell structure in theory, which is designed and analysised by high frequency simulation software (HFSS). According to analysising and discussing of the classic FSS structure Jerusalem unit, some unit structure, period character, the dielectric and other relevant parameters on the transmission characteristics of the FSS are obviously understood and realized.Secondly, in the microwave field, in order to improve efficiency , FSS in antenna system is applied for the reflector antenna. Therefore, the different structural units are computed and researched, which shows that the ring unit has a relatively stable angle and polarization characteristics.Finally, through a single opening-shaped ring unit that has been improved in reflection and transmission characteristics of the different bands can be able to finish the requirements of the reflector antenna system.Keywords：FSSMulti-frequency bandOpening ring unit目录摘要...............................................................................................................................................IAbstract .......................................................................................................................................
