Design,SynthesisandPropertiesofNovelHostandGuestMaterialsforPhosphorescentOrganicLight-EmittingDiodeAbstractOrganiclight-emittingdiodes(OLEDs)haveattractedmuchattentionfrombothacademicandindustrialcommunitiesfortheirpotentialpracticalapplicationsindisplaysandsolidstatelighting.ComparedwithfluorescentOLED,phosphorescentOLEDhasbeenthemainstreamOLEDtechnologybecauseofthehigherluminousefficiency.TothephosphorescentOLEDdevices,inadditiontothedevicestructure,thekeyOLEDmaterialsareanotherimportantfactoraffectingtheperformanceofOLEDdevices.Whereintheorganiclayermaterials(includingtheholetransportlayermaterial,electrontransportlayermaterial,andlight-emittinglayermaterial),especiallylight-emittinglayermaterials(includinghostmaterialanddopantmaterial)areofcrucialimportancefortheefficiencyandlifetimeofthephosphorescentOLED.Therefore,theeffortsinsearchingbetterkeyOLEDmaterialshaveneverbeenexhausted.Herein,theOLEDlight-emittinglayermaterialsaremainlyfocusedon,includingaseriesofnovelbipolartriazole/carbazolebinarysystemaswellasanoveltriazole/carbazole/phosphineoxideternarysystemhostmaterialsandaseriesofbluephenylimidazole-basediridium(III)phosphorescentdopantmaterials.Otherwise,anoveltriazole/phosphineoxidebinarysystemelectrontransportmaterialwasalsodeveloped.Followsarethedetails:Combiningthecarbazolegroupwithgoodhole-transportingabilityandthetriazolegroupwithexcellentelectron-transportingability,fournoveltriazole/carbazolebipolarhostmaterialsweredesignedandsynthesized.ThesehostmaterialsareallconfirmedbyNMRandMS.Thesenewmaterialswerefoundtoexhibitwideenergygaps(Eg:3.29–3.52eV),hightripletenergies(ET:2.56–2.76eV),highthermalstability(Td:426–454oC),highglass-transitiontemperatures(Tg:116–156oC)andexcellentfilmformingproperty.Electron-only(EOD)andhole-only(HOD)devicesofthemwere英文摘要有机光电功能材料的设计合成和性能研究studiedandtheresultsshowedthereisnodifferenceofanorderofmagnitudeinthecurrentdensitiesbetweenEODandHOD,suchevidentlyprovesthebipolartransportingpropertyofthesematerials.GreenandbluePHOLEDd
