AbstractWith the rapid development of information technology, computer technique and the popularization of the network, the implementation of information management system will be essential to modern enterprise for standardized and scientific management. Meanwhile, information management system has been used extensively as applications software.The traditional management by hand in chemical industry is replaced by the effective management with database technology, network technology and remote data acquisition technology,which can keep the staff far away from severe environment, ensure the the veracity and reliability of weight information.This subject on the basis of previous experience particularly analyzes the actual demand for manufactureshop in chemical industry and discusses the relative merits about C/S(Client/Server) and B/S(Brower/Server).Then the hybrid architecture ofC/S and B/S is established to realize the system frame. This paper deals with the research and design of weighting management information system,which realizes not only monitoring the product information in realtime,but also making real-time information networked.The whole system is devided into monitor in realtime subsystem and network inquire subsystem.This article summarizes the general flow about weighting management in chemical industry and illustrates the fundamental function of the two subsystems; illustrates the design of hardware components and software components about intelligent weight indicator based on AT89C51 SCM(Single Chip Microcomputer); illustrates the design procedure of the function modules just as digital filtering technology, CRC algorithm, data dictionary, data acquisition and transmission, production monitoring.The information of product weight is acquised by the intelligent weight indicator.
