And the users also pay more and more attention to the quality of network communication. In order to provide the best quality service to more users when achieving the optimal investment cost, the network operators found the increasingly importance of wireless network optimization. The data collection is one of the most important steps in network optimization, in which the tra ditional drive test with artificial participation is one of the most commonly methods of data acquisiti on. But there are many disadvantages of traditional drive test, such as high-costs, large number of e quipment, high labor intensity, and without the capability of long-term test, which can not satisfy th e demand of network optimization test. In this paper, a smart drive test system based on the CDMA network, which can be achieved without human scene involved in automatic data acquisition, has be en designed in order to solve the problem of spending lots of human resources in the traditional driv e test. The smart drive test system consists two parts: smart data collection terminals which can be facilitately installed in public transport vehicles, and the background analysis system. The functions of smart data collection terminal includes the realization of the task request, simulations of the true feelings of the user according to task parameters, real-time acquisition task data upload, the terminal state upload and error correction processing of the collected data. The background analysis system includes user interfaces and database analysis, the main achievement of which is the formulation of the task, receiving mission data and status data, terminal monitoring, statistical analysis, various forms displayments of parameters, and report generation.
