Base on the3STechnologyResearchofInformationSystem in WestUjumqinSnowDisasterRescueAbstractThegrasslandisanimportantnational strategic resourceandanimportantbaseforthe developmentofanimalhusbandry.ThemajorpasturingareasinChinamostlylieinthe inlandareasofhighelevationandmiddle-highlatitude,wherethedifferentdegreesof snowdisasteralmostoccureveryyear,whichhasbecomeanimportantfactorrestricting thedevelopmentofpastoralareasofeconomicandanimalhusbandry,andtherearefew populationandthetransportationisinconvenient,intheeventofsnowdisasterandother naturaldisasters,the reliefworkofhumanandlivestockwouldbeverydifficult.Therefore, resistandreducethesnowstormdamageisaseriousproblemdemandingpromptsolution.Inrecentyears,thedevelopmentofcomputer、3Sandotherrelatedtechnologiesprovidesstrongsupportfordisasterrelief,especiallygeographicinformation systemsarebeingused invarious stages ofdisasterreliefinvarious ways.ThispaperregardsWestUjumqinastheresearchtargetofsnowstormrescue,using remotesensingdataas datasources，theGPStechnologyforsupporting，theGISplatformforauxiliarytool,andcomprehensiveutilizationof3Stechnologyprovideassistant decisionsupportfortheWestUjumqinsnowstormrelief.Thispaperhasaccomplished vectorizationoftheroadmapofWestUjumqin,thearrangeofherdsmannotemessageand importingdatabase,hasdevelopedWestUjumqinsnowstormrescuesystembymeansofobject-oriented C# language、SQL Server 2005 database and SuperMap Objectcomponent.Whensnowstormoccurred,thesystemcanaccuratelydeterminetheexact locationoftheaffectedregion,theamplyinformationoftheherdsman,roadconditions and avarietyofavailableresourcesto determinethereliefmeasuresandreliefprograms, reducecasualtiesandpropertydamagecausedbythesnowstorm,andprovideascientific basis andrationalmanagementandplanningforsnowstormrelief.Key words:Snowdamage；3stechnology；GeographicInformationSystem；Rescue；WestUjumqinDirected by: Prof.SHANG ShiyouApplicantforMasterdegree:FENGTingting(AgriculturalBiologicalEnvironmentalandEnergyEngineering)(Collegeof
