Thebuildingindustryplaysapullroleonthe entirenationaleconomy.The industryhasalonghistoryandtakesacrucialplace,whilethegovernmentoffers muchsupporttoitsdevelopment.Butcomparingtothemanufacturingindustry hasgrownmanytimestheproductionefficiency,theefficiencyandeffectiveness ofconstructionindustrygrowslowly.Hysteresisofinformationmanagementand extensivemanagementwayarepartlyleadingtothesituation.Withthe developmentofeconomyandsociety,thelivingstandardsimprovedand the horizonexpanded, peoplehavemoredemandthanbefore.Therefore, the emergenceofheterogeneousbuilding,super-tall building,sustainablebuilding giveachallengetoconstructionindustry,fromdesign,constructionto organization.The emergencyofBIMmaybetheopportunityofconstructionindustry, whichleadingtotransformationanddevelopment.Throughintegrating informationofbuilding,structure,facilitiesand process in building lifecycle timeintoonedatabase,BIMmakestheintegrationandoptimizationintotruth, andtrulysupportbuildinglifecyclemanagement.Onthebaseoftheanalysis oftheoryandelementrelatedofBIM,thispaper absorbsessentialoftotalideafromtotalqualitycontrolandsoon,andbuilds the totalapplicationsystemofBIM.Thissystemincludesthreedimensions,which aretotalprocess,totalorganizationandtotalelement.ItbasesonidealizedBIM technologyand idealizedprocessmanagementsuitableforBIM,therefore,the systemhascertainprospectiveanddirective.Accordingtothesystem,theBIM applicationmaturity model issetup.Thematurity modelincludes evaluation indexsystemofmaturity,distinguishingmethod oftheindexandassessment methodofmaturitylevel.Throughanalysisofthegivencase,theutility, usability andaccuracyofmaturitymodel are confirmed.With the model, we couldeasilydistinguishthematuritylevelofBIMapplicationinagivenproject, therelativeweaklinkcanbefoundsimultaneously,whichprovidesreferenceto enterprisetoimproveitsBIMapplicationabilit
