In this lecture I explain badas System namespace. I will explain all the system namespace classes along with their usage. The Osp::System namespace provides system related information and helps achieving very generic utilities such as setting alarm or make your device vibrate. In the next few slides, I will run through details of System namespace classes. System namespace provides the Alarm, Battery, DeviceManager, PowerManger, RuntimeInfo, SettingInfo, , SystemInfo, SystemTime and Vibrator classes. All of them are used to get system related information except for the Alarm and Vibrator classes. The Alarm class contains several Non-static functions. This class provides functions to register or unregister an alarm. The Alarm class also provides Get functions to get the Alarm parameters, Set functions to set the parameters and the Cancel function to cancel an alarm. If the specified time is elapsed, the OnAlarmExpired function of the IAlarmEventListener is called. Using the Battery Class, you can get the current battery level and whether the battery is being charged. GetCurrentLevel, GetCurrentLevelInPercentage and IsCharging are the APIs to achieve this. The DeviceManager class enables your application to monitor the connection state of the device accessories and provides add/remove device state listener and get current state of the device such as bluetooth headset, TV-out, headphone and so on. PowerManager allows your application to control default power management policy and setting or getting the device screen brightness. Listed are the APIs which enables you to achieve that. Using the RuntimeInfo class, you can get information related to the Runtime. For example, you can get the amount of the memory allocated by the application, and the available storage size. In addition, you can get the current BatteryLevel and whether the battery is being charged or not. Using the SettingInfo class, you can see whether the current setting is SilentMode, whether the GPS
