Direct Speech Indirect Speech 直接引语和间接引语 Direct Speech （直接引语） 在引用别人的原话时，被引用的句子称 为直接引语。引导直接引语的动词常常 为say, ask, answer, reply, tell等。引 用动词有时放在前面，但多数放在后面。 He said, “I have lost my pen.” “I never eat meat,”I told him. I asked her, “What’s the matter?” “Nothing.” she answered. Indirect Speech （间接引语） 引导间接引语的动词有：say, reply, tell, answer, explain, promise, admit,complain 等。被引用部分通常是这些动词的宾语。 She said she could wait another day.
