均方根偏差分别3 cm和10°。根据计算结果给出了4 个分潮的潮汐、潮流、潮余流和潮能通量密度分布图。总的来看模拟结果和观测值具有良好的一致性,特别与Hatayama等(1996)的结果比较,本文结果更符合观测值。关键词:印尼海潮汐潮流数值模拟FVCOMNumerical Simulation ofPrincipalTidal Constituents in the IndonesiaAdjacent SeasAbstractIndonesiaisthelargestarchipelagonationintheworld,andtheIndonesianseas havethespecialterrainenvironment.Inparticular,theIndonesianThroughflow, whichpassesthroughthisseaarea,isakeylinkoftheGreatConveyoroftheglobal ocean.Thetidal systemintheIndonesianseasisofgreatcomplexityasmanifestedby anumberofamphidromicpointsintheareaandtheGulfofCarpentaria,strongtidal currentsinthestraits,andhugetidalenergyfromthePacificandIndianOceans.The tidesplayanimportantroleintheIndonesianseawatermixingandcirculation,thus thestudyofthetidesandtidalcurrentsisofsignificanceintheunderstandingofthe Indonesianseas.Rectangulargridsarecommonlyemployedintheprevioushydrodynamic numericalsimulationsoftheIndonesianadjacentseas.Inthispaper,weusethemore popularfinitevolumecoastalmodelsFVCOM,whichadoptsunstructuredtriangular mesh,andiscapableoffittingdramaticallychangingcoastlinesofislandsandstrait, and is thus particularlysuitable fornumerical simulations of theIndonesian seas.The principaltidalconstituentsM2,S2,K1andO1intheIndonesianadjacentseas arenumericallysimulatedusingtheFVCOMoceanmodelinthisstudy.The computationaldomaincoverstheareafrom20°Sto20°Ninthesouth-northdirection andfrom90°Eto150°Einthewest-eastdirection.Theaveragemodelresolutionis 1°/12nearsmallislandsintheIndonesianadjacentseas,and1°/5nearthemainland coasts, and 1°/2 near theopen boundary.WeusetheEtopo1depths,Etopo5depths,andthedepthsfromthenavigation chart, and their combinations to construct 5 different depth data sets to makenumericalexperiments.Theresultsfromtheseexperimentsarecomparedwiththe harmonicconstantsat104crossoverpointsoftheTOPEX/Poseidonand79tidal stationsfromtheInternationalHydrographicOrganization,showingthatthe experimentusingEtopo1inthedeepocean,chartdataintheKarimataStrait,Natuna SeaandtheJavaSea, synthesi
