Kan and Swan( 2001) and seism ic inver sion were integr ated to
construct Kan and Swan (2001) geopressure
model to overcome the multi P-sonic trend
p r ob lem o c cu r r e d in t h e sou t hw e st er n
foothill of Taiwan . The geopressure model
systematically predict the p seudo 3D pore
f lu id p r e ssu r e gr a d ient in H sin sh i an d
Kan and Swan Yunkung area . P-sonic logs from 9 wells
t : P(z)/z were used to estimate the amount of uplift
= 10.3 Kpa/M+0.018127* t+0.000115*( t)2 at the well locations. Pressure data from 5
( 1). wells were used to perform the multi-linear
(2). regression of pressure gradient prediction
equations in the paleo-depth domain : P(z)/z
