A study of promoting deep learning in high school
physics teaching
Abstract
Deep learning is an important concept in the learning theory at present. Deep learners
can learn new ideas and facts critically, and integrate them into their original cognitive
structures. They can also use their own knowledge in new situations to make decisions and
solve problems. New-course standards require that the focus of teaching activities should
be more gathered in the students learning. Students study way should be changed from
passive to active, and from shallow learning to deep learning. As a natural science,
high school physics is systematic and comprehensive. The students should often use
advanced thinking in learning. So deep learning is of great significance for learning high
school physicsAt present there are some problems in high school physics teaching such as the lack
of students subjectivity, disconnection of theory and practice and so on. This paper will
study the current situation of high school physics teaching based on the relevant theory,
analyze the features of deep learning, explore the factors hindering students from deep
learning, and put forward some teaching strategies to promote students’ deep learning so as
to make the students learning more efficient and improve the students thinking abilityThe paper consists of six parts:
The first part is the analysis of the importance and the practical significance of
promoting students deep learning. This part also briefly introduces the development of
domestic and international research and the latest research of deep learning theory;
The second part includes some the relevant concepts of deep leaning and the
theoretical foundation of the research: This part mainly defines shallow learning and deep
learning and other related concepts. And this part also states the cognitive theory basis of
