Abstract: T he product inside diameter w as usually chosen as stripper gate diameter of cylindrical shaped die. The tradi-
tion met hod damages the product surface seriously. The products outside diameter w as chosen as t he stripper gate di-
ameter, the geomet ry relat ion proof w as taken as the method, and the effective area calculation of st ripper gate was
carried on. From analysis and t he practical production, the result show s t hat choosing circular as the stripper gate
shape, choosing product outside diameter as t he stripper gate diameter and increasing slippage clearance properly could
effectively eliminat e t he scrape damage of products surf ace.
