Hello, Li Yang I met him-- after waiting for his big show for more than 2 hours on November 25th, 2011 in Loudi NO.5 Middle School –Li Yang, the English teacher who has been teaching the language for as long as 24 years, whose most welcomed brandname was Crazy English, the spirit of which saved lots of heart-broken English learners, because they could not even try to open their mouth. He looked dark from his complexion, energetic from his body and mind as he came into the field waving his hands, speaking to the little students, patting their heads. Everybody was still very excited and happy seeing Li Yang even after sitting here for such a long time and even he had lectured in the school before. His unpunctuality was caused by one accident on his way here accoding to his own words. But don’t worry about it, for his assistant whose body and voice resembles Li Yang had gone up to the stage to do the opening promotion of how Li Yang could change the fate of his students and how hardworking he was. The assistant started doing some warm-ups by yelling English, giving some simple orders and using humorous tongue. Yet he couldn’t handle the situation any more when the students and teachers sitting impatiently there began to feel the heat from the shining sun and the tiredness from expectation. What came next was an experienced interpreter, Liu Xiang. This guy was different from Li Yang in style of teaching and in body either, for he showed us his skillful English in interpretation and he was somewhat thin, more quiet and a father of a teacher. Mr Liu said, “Someone wannna has a try? I could try to interpret whatever you speak in Chinese or English.” Many hands were lifted and one of them was asked onto the stage. The lucky and nervous student said something shocking and surprising that it’s the first sentence from the Tao Te Ching.
