This paper puts the application of series compensation in 10kV Liangshan line of Hechi area in Guangxi Province as a case, discusses the principle of the fixed series compensation technology, analyses the current situation and problems of 10kV Liangshan line, proposes a series compensation scheme based on fast switch.
