Part1 Introduction of N600-16.7/538/538 steam turbine NCEPU Zhu Ping Type: N 600—16.7／538／538 The definition of unit operating conditions 1.Nameplate conditions( TRL) This condition is the acceptance working conditions of the unit output guarantee (600MW). Its conditions are as follows: Main steam flow is nameplate flow. 1) Rated main steam parameters and reheat steam parameters; 2) LP cylinders exhaust back pressure for an average of 11.8kPa ; 3) Supply of water for 3% ; 4) Final feedwater temperature of 274 ℃; 5) All the thermal systems operation are normal. Not Factory Auxiliary steam Consumption; 6) Steam-driven pumps to meet the rated feedwater parameters 7) Generating efficiency of 98.9 %, Rated power factor 0.90 , Rated hydrogen pressure . 2.Maximum continuous operation power (T—MCR) Under this conditions, steam turbine can operate continuously with safety and the output power will be nearly 634MW. The other conditions are same with nameplate conditions. The differentia are as follows: 1) LP cylinder steam turbine exhaust back pressure for an average of 4.9kPa ; 2) Supply of water for 0% ; 3. Valve whole open(VWO) Combined HP and IP cylinders has some properties. High temperature zone concentrated in the central cylinder. When night or weekend shutdown, cylinder and shaft temperature decay will be slow. Startup thermal stress will be small and startup speed will be fast. So it’s suitable for two shifts operation(day-up night-down). Reducing the number of bearings, shaft length may be shortened. At both ends of the combination cylinder temperature is lower, thereby reducing the impact of seal on the bearings. Operating conditions can be improved. Because the shaft of combination cylinder is longer and thicker, its critical speed will reduce.
