Green Infrastructure / Special Urban Green Stormwater Infrastructure Planning and Implementation A Case Study of Philadelphia, USA Wang Chun-xiao LIN Guang-si Abstract: Combing ecological rainwater management with urban green infrastructure has become a basic strategy for sustainable urban development. Based on the case study of green rainwater infrastructure planning in Philadelphia, we analyzed the background, strategy and method of green rainwater infrastructure planning. In Philadelphia, ecological network is the multiple carrier of green rainwater infrastructure, which is integrated with the functional requirements of urban activities. Using green acres as the quantitative standard of construction, stormwater fees are based on the area of impervious surface. These experiences provided reference for the construction of sponge city in China.
