Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen: A: Welcome to the 3rd offshore drilling platform design competition in China University of Petroleum, Beijing. I ‘m the host yangjiaqi B: I ‘m the hostess chenyajing. A: To begin with, let me introduce the judges of this competition: First of all, let’s welcome Professor 蔡国庆, from Beijing Jiaotong University. B: Then, let’s welcome senior engineer 张全智, the Sinopec group manager of the SWCC project in Saudi Arabia. A: Next, let’s welcome senior engineer 李冰, who is working for China space engineering research center now. B: Then, let’s welcome professor 周建萍, the teacher of offshore oil and gas engineering department in CUPB. A: Finally, let’s welcome professor 李世远，the teacher of engineering mechanics department in CUPB. Thanks to all of the judges for attendance to the competition. B: Now, let’s welcome all of the teams who take part in this competition. They are coming from 10 different universities. A: Now, it’s time to introduce the process of the competition and the set of the award. First of all, every team has 5 minutes to display and make an explanation for their design instructions and model. The time reminder will ring at the last one minute and our staff will show like this. When time is over, the staff will show like this. Then, the team should answer the judges’ questions. When the representative of one team is making the presentation on the stage, other members of this team should wait at the designated area for our judges’ questions. And the following team should come to the waiting area ahead of time. After all of the team finish their defenses, the judges will give the evaluation and announce the final result.
