2011亚洲学生奥林匹克英语演讲大赛全国总决赛 比赛指南 小学C组（五、六年级） 半决赛项目 参赛选手须用英语进行自我介绍，内容要求：姓名、年龄、组别、参赛证号。 定题演讲 参赛选手可在以下话题中任选一个作为演讲内容，并以自己的真情实感准备好说话稿。该环节时限为3分钟，现场将有记时员示意起止。演讲时间不足1分钟或超过3分钟都将被扣分。 注意：以下话题仅供参考，不可照搬原文，否则将酌情减分。 (1) My holidays （或其他日子） I had a long holiday for May Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want. During those days, I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then, I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house. My mother bought a lot of tasty food for us, we also took many photos on the party. （2）Water （或其他对人类有益的事物） Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We use it to cook, make electricity, put out fires and so on. We use millions of liters of water every day. Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories (we call water plants) that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on which we live, and keep the water clean.. （3）I like playing basketball（或其他体育运动） My hometown is a famous “Basketball Town”. Everybody likes playing basketball here. I love playing basketball, too. It’s my favorite sport. 　　Every morning I go to play it in our school gym. My P.E teacher told me that playing basketball would make me taller and stronger. Because I play basketball well. Now I am a member of our school basketball team. I play harder than before. My
