Abstract
In modern map production, DSMs have become an information source for GIS database updating, for change detection, for cartographic 3D feature extraction and reconstruction. Dense matching as the key technology of automatically generating DSM, has always been a research hotspot in the digital photogrammetry and computer vision field. In recent years, although the image matching technology have been extensive researching and further developing, but a general and effective method to solve all problems did not appear, that can generate DSM high accurately an automatically. Especially with the air digital sensors widely used, they can get large overlap aerial imageryaerial imageryaerial imageryaerial imagery, so as to providing large redundant geometry and radiation information for image matching, how to take full advantage of the redundant information to get accurate and reliable correspondence points, has become an important problem for image matching. In addition, since the introduction of POS system, that can direct determination the imagery exterior orientation elements when acquiring the aerial imagery. How to make use of the exterior orientation elements of POS direct determination to support image matching, which is a worthy of discussion.
In view of the above new problems of image matching, this paper focuses on the POS supported dense matching techniques for automatically generating DSM. The research work of the thesis is mainly reflected in the following respects:
