Permanent magnetic material widely used in various fields of electronics, electrical, machinery, transportation, medical treatment and daily necessities, such as permanent magnet loudspeaker, telephone receiver; magnetic system of magnetoelectric ammeter; generator, permanent magnet motor pole; the machine manufacturing industry with permanent magnet device (permanent magnetic chuck as surface grinding machine etc.) and maglev system, magnetic bearing; magnetic separation system, magnetic separation, magnetic mineral water purification system, a magnetron, a proton accelerator magnetic system etc.This paper introduces the basic concepts firstly , the main use of permanent magnet, the elements and choices of these materials as the permanent magnet, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages.
