S T A T E S T A N D A R D O F T H E U S S R STEEL CRANE-RUNWAY BEAMS FOR GENERAL-PURPOSE OVERHEAD TRAVELLING ELECTRIC CRANES OF 50 T LOAD-CARRYING CAPACITY SPECIFICATIONS GOST 23121−78 Official edition USSR STATE COMMITTEE FOR CONSTRUCTION Moscow UDC 669.14-422.2:621.87:006.354 Group Zh34 S T A T E S T A N D A R D O F T H E U S S R STEEL CRANE-RUNWAY BEAMS FOR GENERAL PURPOSE OVERHEAD TRAVELLING ELECTRIC CRANES OF 50 T LOAD-CARRYING CAPACITY GOST 23121−78 Specifications Introduced by the Decree No. 72 dated 28.04.78 of the USSR State Committee for Construction term of introduction is set from 01.01.79 Failure to comply with this Standard will result in legal proceedings This Standard applies to steel welded slotted crane-runway beams with spans of 6 and 12 m, with I-shaped cross-section, composed of three plates, mounted upon steel or reinforced-concrete columns of buildings and open crane trestles erected in districts with design open air temperature of minus 65 oC and higher, with seismisity of up to 9 points inclusive. The beams shall be intended for general-purpose overhead travelling electric cranes with a load-carrying capacity of 50 t for light, medium and heavy mode of operation. The beams shall comply with requirements of GOST 23118-78 and requirements stated in corresponding sections of this Standard. 1. BAS
