The culture characterist ics, sporulation, half germinat ion time, rapid disand reh dration via bilit , ultraviolet radiation viabilit and bathing viabilit of 19 different source strains of Beau veria bassiana were observed or determined. With coding of culture characteristics, t he correla tion coefficient halfmatrixes of strains w ere calculated according to the 8 acquired indexes. The results indicate that t he near relation of different strains w as mainl determined b the distance among original geographic distributions, and secondl b the hosts. T he correlation of different strains from the same or close area had a significant difference, but t hat from different hosts did not have it.
