Case [overseas] BloomReach: Amazon become the preferred search engine Americans shopping
Amazon (Amazon) continue to work with Bing, Google and Yahoo search engines to compete for market share. A recent survey for the 2,000 US consumers found that 44% of search products directly to Amazon, while 34 percent of people use traditional search engines. This means that the Amazon has become the preferred search engine Americans shopping.
By the dedicated big data marketing applications BloomReach company commissioned the independent survey carried out in August, the survey results on Tuesday (October 6) released to the public.
The survey found that about 87% of consumers believe that online retailers make their individualized needs, effectively influence them to buy more goods. Consumers who participated in the survey, 75 percent noted that Amazon’s search engine integrated into commodity personalized content and advertising, do best in this regard. eBay is eligible for 8% of people certainly, 9% of people think that Wal-Mart (Walmart) is best.
BloomReach marketing and partnerships, head of Kaufman (Joelle Kaufman) that consumers want when they browse the Web, the retailer of its advertising and content personalization.
‘This is a pretty big problem faced by retailers because the personalization technology allows Amazon and other engines need to process large amounts of data,’ she said, ‘personalized content to consumers that: I have something you want I chose it to you. ‘
The survey found that two-thirds of consumers admit that they expect to get the same personalized service from a retailer Amazon, Google and other search engines, it seemed to make retailers are a little uneasy. Because retailers lack of data, forcing the store to groups to segment online audience, rather than one-way.
