State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Corporation, Wenzhou 325000, Zhejiang Province, China) ABSTRACT: With the advancement of urbanization, the strictness of laws and regulations and the enhancement of residents’ environmental protection awareness, the noise problem of urban substations has become one of the key problems needed to be solved. Taking the noise characteristics of urban substations as the research object, in order to effectively guide the noise control of urban substations, this paper analyzes the noise characteristics of urban substations (110 kV substation, 220 kV substation and 500 kV substation) and the noise reduction effect of the existing noise reduction measures (sound absorption measures, sound insulation measures and noise countermeasure). It is found that the existing noise reduction measures cant meet the needs of urban substations’
