On basis of archives Modern Parks and Open Spaces; Research; studying, a comprehensive understanding to the modern parks and open spaces in Shanghai Modernization; Shanghai; Concession 1840~1949 is formed and its non-linear and imbalance development is introduced. From （ ） the leading parks in the Concession to the outstanding parks and private gardens in Chinese District during the Period of the Republic of China, the modernization of the parks in Shanghai is analyzed.
