The result showed that in the different vegetation types, the average storage of litter is mixed forestconif- erous forest broadleaf forest, and the mean of the maximum water capacity is mixed forest broadleaf for- est coniferous forest, and the average thickness and the mean of the effective water storing capacity is the same sequence, which is broadleaf forest mixed forest coniferous forest;the total porosity and non-cap- illary porosity of soil is the same order as the average storage of litter, and the effective water storing capaci-
