This syndrome is characterized by pain and sensory abnormalities in the body parts that correspond to the brain territory that has been injured by the cerebrovascular lesion. At present, most physicians pay less attention to the central post-stroke pain. As a result, the patients have long suffered from the pain, which seriously affects their quality of life.
