Younger days： Confucius was born in Zouyi county,the State of Lu (魯) (now Qufu Shandong Province) and lived during the later part of the Spring and Autumn Period. His most popular posthumous names are the Ultimate Sage Master of Yore(至圣先师)，the Lord Propagator of Culture Ultimate Sage and Great Accomplisher(大成至圣文宣王),the Model Teacher of a Myriad Ages(万世师表).
