For this reason, MSP430 single- chip microcomputer and the traditional MCS-5 1 single-chip microcomputer are compared in data acquisition application . It is known that MSP430 single-chip microcomputer is simpler and easier than MCS-51 single-chip microcomputer in data acquisition application . It is also pointed out that the basic knowledge of single-chip microcomputer is necessary for using MSP430 single-chip microcomputer to develop data acquisition system, and the developers should select appro- priate single-chip microcomputer for their own specific situation .
