However, at present, there is stillnomethod and standard for delmi iting the scope of special conserva- tion area of islands in the sea, which restricts the island protection and reasonable use of resources. This paper is about the case studies of delmi iting the scope of different special conservation areasw ith different protecting ami s and proper- ties, according to the protecting ami , management level, and external risk. According to the study, this paper puts for- ward the sole protection objectmethod and multi- objective protection objectmethod for delmi iting the scope of special conservation area of islands in the sea. This study provides theoretical and practicalexploration for delmi iting the scope of special conservation area of islands in the sea.
