T he complex st atum du ing pipe jacking included clay, wat e ed sandy st atum, and soft upside and ha d downside st atum, and t he main t echnique difficulties included c ossing t he ive with ext eme shallow soil cove ing, sho t distance f om building base, and long distance pipe jacking, and so on. By using imp oved slu y- balanced pipe jacking machine, optimized configu ation of cutte head and cutte , and specif ied t echnique m easu es in enginee ing, all t hese diff iculties w e e b oke t h ough one by one, w hich secu e the saf ety of the p oject .
