The esults have shown that the p esence of se c eto y st uctu es is a common featu e of leaves in this genus. Acco ding to thei anatomical cha ac te istics, the sec eto y st uctu es can be divided into nodules, sec eto y cavities ( canals) and tiny sec eto y tubes. In thei dist ibution in leaves the nodules fall into two types : the leaf edge type and the scatte ed type. Acco ding to the location of cavities in the c oss sections of leaves, the cavities can be divided into 4 types: the median type which is situated between the palisade t issue and spongy tissue, the palisade tissue type, the spongy tissue type and the ac ossmesophyll type.
