And the sem i-str ct ral characteristic of XML doc m ent iswell s ited for s ch m odels of temporal database. W itho t cons idering the q ery optmi ization of index technology, the length of tem poral data doc m ent is one of the key factors for the q ery operations. Tw om ethods of tmi e representation for temporalXML database-attrib tion tmi e-stamped m odel and elem ent tmi e-stamped m odel are researched firstly in th is paper. Then a new m ethod, text prefix tmi e-stamped model, is presen- ted. Based on the three temporal XML data m odels, the elmi ination of tmi e inform ation red ndancy is also st died by m ak ing se of tmi e in terval relationship among elem en ts of the tem poral XM L doc m ents.
