Re- sults A ll the casesw ere followed up for 4~ 24 m onths. he fracturesw ere all cured am ong 4~ 24w eeks. Accord ing to F lynn criteria, the resultsw ere excellent in 41 cases, good in 2 cases, and the rate of excellent and good was 100% . he were no nonunion, mu lun ion, or physeal inju ry. Conclusions Elastic stable intram edullary nailing is an effective therapeutic approach for long bone fractures in ch ildren bewt een 3 to 13 years old. It has advantages such as m in mi al invasion, short tmi e of hosp italization, few comp lications and so on.
