Teaching emphasis: a summary of the basic methods of hypothesis testing. Teaching difficulty: hypothesis testing of large sample parameters of non normal population. Teaching hours: 1 hours. Teaching process: I. review of the main points of knowledge 1. the principle of hypothesis testing Small probability events rarely occur in an experiment. Hypothesis testing method Confidence interval method. Hypothesis testing procedure: (1) put forward the testing hypothesis according to the questions to be tested, including the original hypothesis, EMBED, Equation.3 and alternative hypothesis EMBED, Equation.3. (2) a statistic is selected according to the known conditions, and the distribution of the statistic is known when the EMBED Equation.3 is established. (3) determine the rejection region of EMBED Equation.3 based on the significance level, EMBED, Equation.3, the distribution critical table of the selected statistic. (4) calculate the statistic according to the observation value of the sample, and compare it with the critical value.
