Abstract Based on spot investigation t he regulation on abrasive material of vegetat ion succession and countermeasure of
vegetation restoration of opencast gold ore in Gingili River w atershed, Heihe Region, is analyzed.The result indicates that the

speed of veget ation restoration is influenced by time and t he composition of abrasive material the proport ion of soil and grit in
abrasive material is a major factor . Preponderant genus variation w ith time, in the earlier stage, multi-meat s plant is t he major .
