A rsen ious oxide 10m g/d infusion, from the first to 15 or the first to 21 day, repeated every 3 week. Shortterm thera peutic effects and adverse reactionsw ere evaluated accord ing to the standard of WHO. Results: The total response rate w as 4545% w ith 2 cases of CR and 3 cases of PR. Leukocytopen ia, hepatorenal dysfunction, and abdom inal distention were m ajor side reactions. onclusion: Arsenious oxide is effective in the treatm ent of refractory B cell NHL according to our prelmi inary observation.
