Methods: 200 female patients undergoing elective surgery according to the surgery, two were randomly divided into study group (a covering group) and control group (without covering group), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) assessed anxiety symptoms. Results: the number of anxiety symptoms in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group. The total score of anxiety score and the factor scores of the patients in the study group were also lower than those in the control group, with significant difference (P 0.01). Conclusion: to meet the needs of female patients from the psychological and physiological aspects, and to protect the patients privacy, it is beneficial for the patient to undergo surgery under the influence of stability.
