In our hospital, 104 cases of adhesive intestinal obstruction were treated conservatively with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in 1995~1999 years. Only 1 cases needed surgical treatment, and the other 103 cases relieved and disappeared. It is hereby reported as follows: 1 clinical information All the 104 patients were hospitalized patients. Among them, 74 were male, 30 were female; the age ranged from 4 to 14 years old, average 9.4 years old; for abdominal adhesion caused by obstruction after surgery, besides the common clinical manifestations of intestinal obstruction, all cases were confirmed by abdominal radiographs, supine radiographs and ultrasound diagnosis. 2 treatment 2.1 routine treatment includes fasting, effective gastrointestinal decompression, correcting water and electrolyte disturbances and acid-base imbalance, preventing infection and adding heat. 2.2 Chinese medicine treatment after admission by indwelling gastric tube leading to gastric tube injection by modified Dachengqi Decoction [Raphani 10g, Magnolia 10g, orange 10g, rhubarb 5g (after 7G), mirabilite (blunt) Astragalus 20g], this party sha
