Then a mathematical and p hy sical model concerning CPL evaporator startup wa s e stablished and the numerical method wa s applied to obtain the startup p erfor mance . A flat typ e CPL t e st - bed wa s de signed and built . The re sult s show that the numerical re sult s agree w ell with the exp erimental data . In addition , the eff ect s of diff erent evaporator configuration s on the startup charact eristic s w ere inve stigat ed and some method s and mea sure s w ere discu s sed and pre sent ed to improve the startup p erformance and enhance the CPL op erating stability.
