Th is butterfly had 2 generations per year in Zhejiang, Ch ina. F irst generation adults em erged in m id to late August, and the second ones from lateM ay toM id-June in the follow ing year. When reared in lab, the larva had 6, 7 or 8 instars and the durations for eggsw ere 6- 7 days. The larva of the first generation lasted about 80 days, and the second ones about 120 days. The durations of first generation pupaw ere about 7 days, and the second ones abou t 11 days. The adult w ere 2- 3 days.
