Re search show s that the performance of mi age defin ition e aluation function is sign ificantly related to the spatial texture distribution of the mi age, and mi age gray grad ient d irection matrix texture analysis method can greatly mi pro e its performance. Due to the pre alence of surface texture on mach ined parts, the mi age texture analysis has gained prac tical applications. Through statistical analysis of the mi age texture characteristic, an mi age defin ition criterion using w a elet transform based on the texture analysis is proposed in th is paper. Expermi ents show that the e aluation func tion has super ior performance for objects w ith texture features, and ach ie es h igh resolution ( better than 2 m ).
