A high oxidation rate of Fe2+ 2. 90 g/ ( L # h) w as achieved at the dilution rate of 0. 5 h- 1. The bioactive beads w ere durable and stable even under non-sterile conditions, and the packed bed treatment op- eration w as simple and effect ive.
