1. 教育部青年發展署舉辦「青年壯遊臺灣」，即日起受理徵件 到明年2月 17號，這一屆可以個人或團體組隊參與，但需要結 合「度假打工」或「公益壯遊」的主題，入選者可獲得青 年署 提供 2 到3萬元的實踐獎金，完成計畫還可參加成果競賽，有 機會再獲得1 到3萬元的競賽獎金。 Youth Development Administration of Ministry of Education (MOE) held a series of “Trekking Taiwan” events. Registration starts from now to Feb.17th next year. People who are interested can participate in the event individually or in a team with a theme project of either “working holiday”or “charity trekking”. Anyone or any team selected will be provided with NT$ 20,000 to NT$30,000 prize money to fulfill their project. Candidates finishing their projects are entitled to enter the competition for a chance to win another NT$10,000 to NT$30,000 prize money. 2. 美國中學數學測驗AMC8 成績昨天（29）揭曉，全球共有369 名學生滿分，臺灣佔 55 人，平均分數也高於全球平均成績。九 九文教基金會表示，彰化精誠中學共有 5 人滿分，成為滿分人 數最多的學校。另外，雲林縣崇德國中學生洪子祐。去年參加 AMC8 ，以2題之差和滿分擦身而過，今年捲土重來，拿下滿分。 The result of American high school of Mathematical Association of America (AMC 8) came out yesterday. A total of 369 students worldwide obtained a perfect score, among which 55 students came from Taiwan and the average score of these Taiwanese students was higher than global average score. Nine Nine Cultural and Educational Foundation said that 5 students who got the perfect score were from Ging Cheng high school in Changhua, which garnered the most perfect scores. Moreover, Hung Zih You from Chong Der high school in Yunlin participated in AMC 8 last year with two questions away from obtaining a perfect score.
